Oldmans Creek Preserve — Auburn

This 39-acre South Jersey Land & Water Trust preserve includes about 3,000 feet of Oldmans Creek frontage, mature forest, hiking and birding trails, a 1790s-era homestead, remnants from the former Camp Kimble and a hand-carry canoe/kayak landing. The preserve is open for passive recreation; check current posted rules before visiting.

Preserve rules: No camping, hunting, fishing, fires, alcohol, bicycles or motorized vehicles beyond the parking area. Canoes and kayaks must be carried or hand-wheeled to the creek landing.

Oldmans Township does not have a significant conventional hotel inventory. The closest concentration of chain hotels is around Carneys Point and Pennsville, convenient to the New Jersey Turnpike and I-295.
